Business Development Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Sales Director to join our team at BDP International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and assign territories, clients, and leads to drive business growth
  • Develop and implement sales plans and business strategies to increase revenue and freight volume
  • Identify and develop new targets to expand regional and global business volume in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions
  • Engage with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within assigned region
  • Meet and exceed designated KPIs regarding client visits via maintenance via the Customer Retention Management system
  • Engage in market research with sales support teams to increase individual sales pipeline

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in global sales preferred
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge about Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
