Job Summary

The Account Manager role involves establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with leaders and executives within the IT and engineering sector. We hire experienced professionals for this position, including those with sales experience ranging from 1-3 years to over 6 years.

This is a remote opportunity that requires confidence, persistence, determination, and excellent communication skills. You will lead virtual and in-person meetings to understand customer needs and share details of our core capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing business relationships within client accounts through regular meetings, phone calls, and events
  • Generating sales leads and cold-calling prospective clients
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of customers' strategic initiatives and working with them on framing business objectives
  • Identifying new opportunities with customers to sell our services offerings: Managed Solutions, Professional Services, and Project-based Resources

Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen to customers' needs, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions. A strong business aptitude, industry best practices, and technical trends are essential for this role. You will also be expected to drive annual revenue responsibility of $2M.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • Business development and professional selling experience to clients in the Communications/Telecomm Industry
  • Selling technical services such as Managed Services, Professional Services, and/or IT Staffing Services
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding objectives and quotas
  • Successful experience with new account development or large account management
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills

Additionally, you should possess high levels of social perceptiveness, client experience, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is required.
