Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager Career Opportunity

Zanchin Automotive Group, a leading network of dealerships, is seeking an experienced Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to join their team.

About the Opportunity

As a key member of the "we can do that" operation, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing department objectives and pursuing them through planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, directing, and leading in all aspects of the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales operation
  • Implementing all systems, scheduling, and procedures in the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales operation
  • Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Preparing and managing the departmental budget
  • Forecasting, targeting, and tracking monthly sales, profit, and expense objectives
  • Developing, implementing, and managing vehicle sales standard operating procedures and systems for customer follow-up and communication
  • Working closely with Sales Consultants and Finance & Insurance Managers to coach and improve performance relating to vehicle and product sales
  • Managing the customer relationship management system to ensure accurate transaction reporting and recording
  • Managing new vehicle inventory and maintaining a well-balanced inventory to maximize gross and minimize expense
  • Ensuring correct purchasing and price evaluation decisions when purchasing vehicles
  • Ensuring compliance with all required licensing and regulatory requirements
  • Tracking and posting daily sales performance and maintaining and tracking marketing and promotional programs

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background and proven experience in customer service and dealership environments, including:

  • 5 years of proven experience in dealership/automotive sales
  • Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in working with ERP/DMS and CRM systems
  • Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • Valid OMVIC License
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and strategic
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
