Job Summary

The Assistant Administrator will work closely with the Home Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of the home. This role will be responsible for implementing policies, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of resident care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement all policies and procedures as directed by the Home Administrator and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure high standards of resident care.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Home Administrator to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with staff, residents, and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Home Administrator.

Qualifications

  • Managerial experience in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
