Sales Professional

Bunzl Canada is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team in the Ottawa and surrounding Ontario region. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for growing sales and gross margin through the following six (6) sales priorities:
- Identifying, qualifying, and selling new customers.
- Introducing and selling product innovation to current customers.
- Introducing and selling product categories to current customers who purchase elsewhere.
- Replacing competitive products of non-preferred vendors with preferred vendor products.
- Upselling current customers to new or replacement products available.
- Introducing and implementing new services that help improve our customers' business.
This is a full-time position with exceptional benefits and an opportunity to become an important part of our rapidly growing company. You must have 3-5 years of experience in successful account sales experience within the Cleaning & Hygiene market channel.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of existing customers to increase sales and gross margin.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Analyzing sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in successful account sales experience within the Cleaning & Hygiene market channel.
- A college or university degree or diploma upon graduation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Experience using MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) to support and supplement a positive customer experience.
