Job Opportunity: Sessional Instructor for Atelier I: Discovery
About the Position:
OCAD University is seeking a qualified Sessional Instructor to teach Atelier I: Discovery, a studio-seminar course that explores current themes, technologies, and debates in interdisciplinary digital science, art, and design.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver course outlines, studio preparation, and lectures, critiques, grading, mid-term evaluations, and final evaluations/reviews
- Ensure health and safety protocols are met and academic and curricular requirements are fulfilled
Qualifications:
- Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline, or equivalent professional/practical experience
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is an asset, with equivalent relevant experience considered
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Terms of Employment:
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts with a per-course pay scale and benefits.
