Faculty of Arts and Science Instructor

OCAD University is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Sessional Instructor position in the Faculty of Arts and Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and teaching-related responsibilities in the area of Cognitive Science.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver course outlines, studio preparation, and lectures
- Grade assignments, conduct mid-term evaluations, and final evaluations
- Ensure health and safety protocols are met
- Meet academic and curricular requirements and deadlines
- Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6, per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, per the provisions of the Employment Standards Act.
