Court Administration Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, including the Ministry of Transportation, Commercial Inspection and Enforcement Unit, to ensure the smooth operation of court services. Your strong administrative skills, combined with your knowledge of legal procedures and terminology, will enable you to prepare summonses, disclosures, and other court-related documents with accuracy and efficiency.
As a Court Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for all court-related activities, including preparing information, summonses, notices of disclosure, and other court-required documents. You will also liaise and communicate with the Provincial Courts, prosecutors, and defense representatives regarding various Ministry court activities.
If you have a valid class "G2" driver's license or equivalent, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills, and the ability to understand and interpret legislation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide administrative support for all court-related activities
* Prepare summonses, disclosures, and other court-related documents
* Liaise and communicate with the Provincial Courts, prosecutors, and defense representatives
* Perform varied duties in court, handling confidential case files
* Coordinate court services for officers
**Requirements:**
* Valid class "G2" driver's license or equivalent
* Problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
* Ability to understand and interpret legislation
* Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple schedules and activities
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
* Proficiency in using a variety of computer software, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and Outlook applications
