Mobile Lab Patient Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Lab Patient Service Technician to join our team at LifeLabs. As a key member of our mobile collections department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of service.
Key Responsibilities- Organize daily schedules of visits to facilities and private residences to collect specimens as per physicians' requests.
- Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings.
- Collect and deliver specimens to designated labs for testing.
- Accession, spin, separate, and prepare specimens for transport to reference labs as required.
- Book patient appointments, request required information from patients, and explain the specimen collection process.
- Liaise with doctors, facility staff, and CCAC staff regarding patient problems, changes in scheduling, and specimen collection procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a vehicle.
- Satisfactory criminal reference check.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent communication skills to enable you to relate with a wide variety of people.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
