Nour Private Wealth Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with expertise in managing full-cycle recruitment processes, building effective talent pipelines, and fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
  • Develop and implement strategic onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Meditate and resolve workplace conflicts or issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Design, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures that promote compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines by implementing performance appraisal systems and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and recognition programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Facilitate training and support to the Talent Acquisition team, equipping them with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Address employment-related legal issues, such as discrimination or harassment claims, in a proactive and solution-focused manner.
  • Manage HRIS platforms for efficient record-keeping and reporting, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement and oversee workplace health and safety programs, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees.
  • Draft employment and other contractor agreements in accordance with The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) rules.
  • Execute biweekly payroll processing for staff, adhering to regulatory guidelines and ensuring timely payment.
  • Conduct thorough background checks on candidates before hiring, verifying credentials and qualifications.
  • Supervise departmental communication and performance, providing recommendations to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Recruit investment advisors using advanced talent acquisition techniques, targeting top talent in the industry.
  • Develop and implement succession plans to identify and prepare future leaders, ensuring continuity and stability within the organization.
  • Communicate changes in policies, procedures, and organizational updates to employees, promoting transparency and understanding.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive work environment that values and respects individual differences.
  • Oversee termination processes, including exit interviews, ensuring a respectful and professional approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP or enrolled in CHRP) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with proven ability to ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing full-cycle recruitment processes and building effective talent pipelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to make sound decisions independently.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite; experience with Ceridian Payroll a plus.
  • Familiarity with tax and payroll regulations across different provinces, particularly focusing on Ontario, Quebec, and Winnipeg.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Talent acquisition expertise within wealth management and financial sectors.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations pertinent to The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
