About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner Hybrid to join our team at Techo-Bloc. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales forecasting process, guiding production and distribution planning, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop 12-Month Forecasts: Utilize statistical methods, including regression and time series analysis, to create accurate forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation.
  • Weekly Data Analysis and Cleansing: Identify and record anomalies, special events, and other variables to be considered when finalizing forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers: Gather information on product trends, warehouse stocking strategies, competitor analysis, and other relevant factors to inform sales forecasts.
  • Maintain the Monthly Sales and Operations Plan (S&OP): Align sales objectives, establish sales strategies, and identify external variables impacting forecasts with company leaders and executives.
  • Analyze Forecast Accuracy: Understand the variables affecting demand and explain them at monthly S&OP meetings.
  • Establish Inventory Targets: Set minimum-maximum inventory, inventory turns, service level, and overstock targets to meet corporate standards in all Techo-Bloc distribution centers.
  • Identify and Resolve Conflicts: Assist in resolving conflicts related to supply, demand, and capacity availability, and propose product life cycles, including forecasts for new products and identification of products for discontinuation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in demand planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistics and forecasting.
  • Experience with R, Python, and VBA (an asset).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLookup, Power Queries, graphs, etc.).
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • APICS - CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English (English is necessary to serve our customers in the USA).
