Senior Demand PlannerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Demand Planner to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate forecasting and planning of our product inventory to meet customer demand effectively.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive demand forecasts for various products across different regions.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to identify patterns and predict future demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment on demand projections.
- Utilize statistical modeling techniques and forecasting software to generate accurate and reliable forecasts.
- Monitor forecast performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding demand trends and potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning and analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling techniques and forecasting software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLookup, Power Queries, graphs, etc.).
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems is an asset.
- APICS - CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is a plus.
