We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our team at Techo-Bloc. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain 12-month demand forecasts using statistical methods, including regression and time series analysis.
- Analyze weekly data to identify anomalies and trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales teams to gather market insights and competitor analysis to inform demand planning.
- Develop and maintain the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with cross-functional teams to align sales, production, and inventory goals.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in establishing inventory targets, stock rotation, and service level agreements to meet company standards.
- Identify and resolve conflicts related to supply chain, demand, and capacity availability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning and analysis.
- Strong statistical knowledge and forecasting skills.
- Experience with R, Python, and VBA (an asset).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, etc.).
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
- APICS - CPIM certification is an asset.
- High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English (English is required for serving US clients).
