Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Glory Juice Co. Vancouver Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to meet customer demands and minimize waste.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, providing them with foreign credential recognition, mentorship programs, and diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food and beverage service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
