Food and Beverage Server Opportunity

Capilano Golf and Country Club is a private facility located in West Vancouver, offering a unique work environment with scenic views of the Burrard inlet, North Shore Mountains, and The Vancouver Skyline. We are seeking Servers to join our Food and Beverage Team. This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager. A wonderful perk in serving a membership is the opportunity to provide personalized service and build great relationships. With over 5 outlets in our F&B department, there are opportunities for skill development and education.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking and relaying food and beverage orders.
- Accurately entering orders in the POS system.
- Communicating with kitchen.
- Serving food and beverage to members and guests.
- Checking on guest satisfaction.
- Handling complaints and concerns of members and guests.
- Providing food and beverage product knowledge.
- Using proper serving techniques.
- Practicing responsible alcohol service.
- Monitoring patrons for intoxication and arranging taxi service when appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Service orientation - comfortable helping customers with high expectations.
- Good communication skills - confident speaking with members, guests, and colleagues.
- Problem solver - ability to understand and resolve issues.
- Ability to provide great customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, with ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
- Serving it right certificate.
- Age 19+ for serving alcohol.
