Job Title: Food and Beverage Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Glory Juice Co. Vancouver Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Service Manager will be responsible for determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures. This includes organizing and maintaining inventory, negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The Food and Beverage Service Manager will also provide support for newcomers and refugees by recruiting and supporting them in their job search, offering mentorship programs, and providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Indigenous People:

The Food and Beverage Service Manager will also provide support for Indigenous people by offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities, and providing cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Visible Minorities:

The Food and Beverage Service Manager will also provide support for visible minorities by applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination, offering mentorship programs, and providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language
