Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range $83,000 - $118,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a generous benefits package including 401(k) matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance program, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and free life insurance.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Home. The ideal candidate will have a clinical knowledge obtained from an accredited SLP program, a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited college or university, and current State licensure in the specific discipline.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and monitoring therapeutic plans of care utilizing available support staff to maximize the delivery of therapeutic services with significant outcome in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for veterans.
  • Provide education and training to caregivers and family members on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Clinical knowledge obtained from an accredited SLP program.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited college or university.
  • Current State licensure in the specific discipline.
  • Working knowledge of PPS and Medicare guidelines, OBRA, OSHA and state regulatory agency requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of PT, OT or SLP practice acts and procedures.
