Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology - Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our team at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Home. As an SLP, you will work with patients to establish and monitor therapeutic plans of care, utilizing available support staff to maximize the delivery of therapeutic services.



Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.


Requirements



  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • A current State license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Working knowledge of PPS and Medicare guidelines, OBRA, OSHA, and state regulatory agency requirements.
  • Familiarity with PT, OT, or SLP practice acts and procedures.
