Compensation

Job Description

This Speech Language Pathologist position offers the opportunity to work in diverse settings across Southern Ontario and the Capital region, collaborating with clients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality services. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and diagnosing clients of all ages using standardized and non-standardized tests
  • Developing individualized treatment plans based on case history, assessment results, and current professional practices
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client care in accordance with VHA standards
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss clinically significant information
  • Assisting in client discharge planning and maintaining knowledge of current developments in Speech Language Pathology
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience and knowledge of community care requirements and resources available
  • Expertise in managing clients with complex communication disorders and providing various speech language pathology interventions
