Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food is prepared and served on time.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for addressing customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.

Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and checking the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that food is delivered to the correct location and on time.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.

Work Under Pressure

The Food Service Supervisor will be required to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Standing for Extended Periods

The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, ensuring that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
