Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sidon Holdings Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

The Food Service Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

The successful candidate will train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles to the highest standard.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and will work closely with our procurement team to ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.

Ensure Quality Control

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards, and will work closely with our quality control team to identify and implement improvements.

Address Customer Complaints

The Food Service Supervisor will be the primary point of contact for customer complaints and concerns, and will work closely with our customer service team to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Prepare and Submit Reports

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Work Experience

The successful candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service role, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.

Language

Fluency in English is required for this role.

Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the day.

Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and will need to be physically able to perform the duties of the role.

Personal Suitability

The Food Service Supervisor will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach to their work.
