Job Overview
The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for driving the overall performance and culture of the company. This includes overseeing sales, operations, finance, logistics, human capital, safety, and business governance and monitoring. Key areas of focus include formulating and executing a strategic roadmap for the organization, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation, and providing leadership and guidance to the senior leadership team.
Pivotal Experience & Expertise
- P&L Leadership: 5+ years of progressive leadership experience culminating in owning a P&L of a similar scale size as Capital Foodservice.
- Industry Relevance: Experience operating and navigating a growing and complex environment with a deep understanding of the levers within a service-driven business.
- Track Record of Growth: A proven track record of growth through organic and inorganic means, maximizing operating margins, and leveraging market research, competitive analysis, customer data, and analytics.
- Commercial and Operational Excellence: Expertise in developing and executing commercial strategies with direct oversight and accountability for food distribution operations.
- People Leadership: An empowering, motivational, team-centric leader who drives results through collaboration and fosters a culture of accountability.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience.
