**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Public Works Officer to join our team at Disability Solutions. As an Infrastructure Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering and a strong background in public project management. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology is also required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating FRA and TC funded programs, such as at-grade crossing programs;
  • Negotiating agreements with internal and external stakeholders to protect CN's interests and minimize financial exposure;
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders to formalize agreements into contracts;
  • Reviewing plans for municipality roads and intersection improvement projects near railway crossings to meet engineering and regulatory standards;
  • Conducting safety audits of public, private, and farm crossings and liaising with road authorities, owners, and CN's Engineering Officer to ensure deficiencies are corrected.

**Working Conditions**

This role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday and minimal travel (up to 20%) to construction sites within the region.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering;
  • Experience in engineering drawing reviews and working in a public projects' environment;
  • A High School Diploma;
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology;
  • Technical knowledge and writing skills;
  • Knowledge of railroad field operations;
  • Fluent bilingualism (English, French).

**Salary Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
