About the Role

The University of Victoria is seeking a highly skilled Membership Services Supervisor to join our team at CARSA. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our members and patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the work of front-line staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with University and departmental regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure effective service delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless service delivery and to identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • 6 months or 120 hours of experience at the CARSA Membership Services Desk or equivalent front-line customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of supervisory principles and practices, operational knowledge of computer software, and membership services management principles
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, faculty, staff, and the general public
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet definitive schedules
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, direct the work of others, and contribute to respectful and inclusive relationships
