Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at YOGI'S KITCHEN FOOD SERVICES (VICTORIA) LTD., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all team members are trained in their roles, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and manage the workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality standards and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Food Preparation: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Delivery Oversight: Supervise the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
Work Environment

The role requires working in a noisy and hot environment, where you will need to be adaptable and able to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a client-focused approach, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week, with responsibilities that include supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
