Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at 2539752 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and control costs associated with food, labor, and other supplies to maintain profitability.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and work term: permanent.
