Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Contact Centre Information Specialist is a key member of the George Brown College team, providing exceptional customer service to students and the community. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding college programs, courses, and services.
- Assist with registration, financial assistance, and application processes.
- Escalate complex issues to senior staff members or other departments as needed.
- Support the Contact Centre Team by assisting with complex inquiries and providing guidance to part-time agents.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as documenting customer escalations and following up with relevant parties.
Requirements:
- Three-year diploma or degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
- Minimum three years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment, preferably in an education setting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding the College's priorities on diversity and equity.
