This is a permanent full-time position offering 35 to 44 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have a Safe Food Handling certificate and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Job Description

As an Executive Chef at Hardy John's Bar & Grill, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. This includes preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen staff follow proper food safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an Executive Chef at Hardy John's Bar & Grill, you will need:

  • a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • a Safe Food Handling certificate;
  • excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail;
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads;
  • dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
