**Hostess Duties**:

- **Greeting Guests**:

- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and create a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- **Seating Guests**:

- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and have everything they need.
- Communicate special requests or allergies to the serving staff and kitchen team.
- **Phone and Takeout Orders**:

- Answer phone calls professionally, assist with inquiries, and manage reservations.
- Take and process takeout orders accurately, ensuring order details and customer requests are followed.

**Food Expediter Duties**:

- **Coordinating Food Service**:

- Act as the liaison between the kitchen and dining staff to ensure food is prepared and served promptly.
- Verify that food orders are accurate, meet presentation standards, and are delivered to the correct tables.
- **Packing Takeout Orders**:

- Organize, package, and double-check takeout and delivery orders for accuracy and presentation.

**Shared Responsibilities**:

- **Table Maintenance and Cleaning**:

- Clear and clean tables after guests depart, ensuring a tidy and welcoming dining area.
- Wipe down tables, chairs, and other high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Set up tables with cutlery, napkins, and other essentials.
- **Closing Duties**:

- Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitization of workstations, dining areas, and high-touch surfaces.
- Restock supplies and prepare the restaurant for the next day’s operations.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional guest service.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and work late-night shifts.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is an asset but not required.

**Work Environment**:
This role involves working in a lively restaurant setting, requiring extended periods of standing and collaboration with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy blending hospitality with operational efficiency to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
