About the Role:

The Resort Assistant Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the Reception of the Resort, managing a team of reception staff to provide a seamless registration and cashiering service for our guests. As the first and last impression of the Resort, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of reception staff to provide exceptional guest service
  • Ensure accurate communication between managers on duty, following up on guest requests and problems
  • Control room rate availability on full-house nights to maximize occupancy and revenue and protect guaranteed reservations
  • Supervise and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements:

  • College degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of five years hotel Rooms Division experience, including at least three years in an Assistant Department Head position
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving ability and proficiency in Hotel property management systems, in particular Opera and Micros Fidelio
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and spoken English language skills
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills, with outstanding demonstrated coaching and development skills
