About the RoleThe Resort Assistant Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Reception department. This high-profile role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of reception staff to provide a seamless registration and cashiering service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of reception staff to ensure excellent guest service and a seamless registration and cashiering experience.
- Control room rate availability on full-house nights to maximize occupancy and revenue, and protect guaranteed reservations.
- Ensure accurate communication between managers on duty, following up on guest requests and problems.
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
- A minimum of five years' experience in hotel Rooms Division, including at least three years in an Assistant Department Head position.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills, with a proven track record of coaching and developing staff.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and spoken English language skills.
- Proficient in Hotel property management systems, particularly Opera and Micros Fidelio.
- A competitive salary of $72,500.00.
