Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our team at The Westin Resort & Spa Whistler. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for investigating unlawful acts, enforcing regulations, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Resolve Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into unlawful acts, accidents, and other incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce Regulations and Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations by monitoring establishment activities, enforcing security protocols, and resolving conflicts.
  • Manage Security Operations: Supervise and coordinate security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and Implement Security Plans: Create and implement security plans to prevent and respond to security threats, including emergency response procedures and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with hotel staff, management, and external partners to ensure seamless security operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a valid Security Guard License and First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience in security management, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
