Hotel Operations Director

The Westin Resort & Spa Whistler is seeking a seasoned Hotel Operations Director to oversee the daily activities of our hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 16-20 staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflows.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in hotel operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
