Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice Principal to join our team at the London District Catholic School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Principal in the administration of a Catholic secondary school, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for students, and promoting the values of Catholic education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Principal in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the supervision and evaluation of teachers and staff.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, particularly in areas of academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other school administrators and staff to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance leadership and administrative skills.
Qualifications
  • Ontario School Principal's Certificate - Part 1 completed or in progress.
  • Part 1 - Religious Education or Equivalent.
  • Part 1 - Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ.
  • A Master's Degree.
  • Completion of the Called to Lead Program or in-progress.
  • Submission of a recent Self Assessment Tool and Commitment to Catholic Education or Aspiring Catholic Leaders.
Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the secondary panel.
  • Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.
