Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Principal to lead our Catholic Secondary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership and direction to the school community, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational leadership and direction to the school community
  • Develop and implement school improvement plans to enhance student achievement
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Manage and allocate resources to support school operations and student learning
Requirements
  • Ontario School Principal's Certificate - Part 1 completed & Part 2 completed or in progress to be completed by the start date of the appointment
  • Part 1 - Religious Education or Equivalent (Minimum Requirement). Specialist (preferred)
  • Part 1 - Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ (preferred)
  • A Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Completion of the Called to Lead Program or in progress (preferred)
  • Vice Principal Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the secondary panel is required
  • Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level
