Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vice Principal to join our team at the London District Catholic School Board. As a key member of our school leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Principal and contributing to the academic and spiritual growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in the overall management of the school, including student discipline, staff supervision, and curriculum development.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to ensure high-quality instruction and student outcomes.
- Collaborate with other school leaders to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance leadership skills and stay current with best practices in education.
Requirements:
- Ontario School Principal's Certificate - Part 1 completed or in progress, and Part 2 completed, in progress, or a commitment to take it.
- Minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the secondary panel.
- Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.
- Submission of a recent Self Assessment Tool and Commitment to Catholic Education or Aspiring Catholic Leaders, in consultation with your Principal.
