About the Role:
The London District Catholic School Board is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice Principal to join our team of educational leaders. As a Vice Principal, you will play a key role in supporting the Principal and teachers in providing a high-quality education to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers in the classroom and in the development of curriculum.
- Assist in the supervision of students and the maintenance of a positive school climate.
- Participate in the development and implementation of school improvement plans.
- Collaborate with other school leaders to achieve district goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Ontario School Principal's Certificate - Part 1 completed or in progress.
- Part 1 - Religious Education or Equivalent (Minimum Requirement).
- Part 1 - Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ (preferred).
- A Master's Degree (preferred).
- Completion of the Called to Lead Program or in progress (preferred).
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the secondary panel.
- Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.
