Department Head and Program Medical Director
Job Summary:We are seeking an accomplished academic psychiatrist to lead the UHN Centre for Mental Health and Program Medical Director UHN-CAMH Partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and sustaining a strong foundation that supports the delivery of high-quality patient care, education, and research in mental health.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic and operational leadership in advancing mental health care at UHN and increasing collaborative clinical and academic initiatives with CAMH.
- Work within UHN's Program Matrix model, providing leadership in concert with a Clinical Vice President, as well as other Program Medical Directors and Clinical Directors.
- Have primary responsibility for quality and safety in the Centre for Mental Health and dyadic responsibility with the Clinical Vice-President/Clinical Director for Finances and clinical operations.
- Attend the CAMH Clinical Executive and be responsible for leading integration efforts related to clinical care, education, and research in mental health across CAMH and UHN.

Requirements:- MD and FRCPC or equivalent qualifications.
- Licensure in Ontario.
- Experience leading in a complex academic health sciences centre.
