We are looking for a skilled claims specialist to join our expanding organization. This position involves working closely with a diverse group of professionals dedicated to assisting clients in their recovery process following incidents.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and interpret collected data to establish coverage.
- Facilitate negotiations for settlements with clients, claimants, legal representatives, and insurance providers.
- Oversee field operations on behalf of internal claims professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance offerings and evaluation methodologies.
- Engage in effective collaboration with various teams across the organization.
- Possess a valid claims expert certification (5A).
- At least three years of experience in claims, ideally in a field setting.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
- Strong understanding of insurance products.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.
