Job Information
Analyze and process claims related to various insurance product ranges: residential, automotive, motorcycle, trucking, business insurance, and guarantee programs. • Examine insurance contract guarantees to determine claim eligibility. • Conduct investigations by collecting statements, establishing loss amounts, negotiating, and settling claims, etc. • Evaluate the possibility of subrogation and pursue it if necessary. • Guide and direct external suppliers to ensure the efficiency of the investigation, control, and claim settlement process. • Prepare correspondence and submit required reports. • Handle payments or payment refusals. • Maintain sufficient reserve amounts.
Your Profile
• College diploma. • Hold a claims adjuster license in personal and commercial insurance. • Minimum 5 years of experience in claims. • Holding a PAA or FPAA title or being in the process of obtaining it is an asset. • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written; English proficiency is required as the person will need to communicate regularly with colleagues from other provinces. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent analytical, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. • Execute multiple tasks simultaneously and assume roles with increasing responsibilities related to various insurance product ranges. • Master Word and Excel.
