Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our staffing process, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Employee Relations: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Administration: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, and ability to work 32 hours per week.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
