Your Role:

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and excel at addressing intricate challenges within the platform. Your expertise spans across various Salesforce clouds, programmatic development, declarative solutions, and integration techniques. You are a proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on delivering high-quality technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into well-structured solutions that maximize the Salesforce platform's potential.
  • Assess the effort required to implement solutions based on both business and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate technical design discussions, crafting and documenting solutions that align with client objectives while advising on best practices.
  • Oversee the technical execution of Salesforce projects, including:
    • Development of tailored solutions and integrations.
    • Providing expert guidance to developers on technical challenges.
    • Designing and executing test plans to ensure quality outcomes.
    • Exhibiting technical thought leadership.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Apex programming, including design patterns, trigger management, and effective unit testing.
  • Showcase front-end development skills with Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Utilize functional and technical tools for data modeling, security frameworks, and custom settings.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce features and industry trends.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform, with a strong background in Apex and JavaScript development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce development lifecycle and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata).
  • Proficiency in Lightning Web Components for front-end development.
  • Knowledge of integration tools and ETL processes within Salesforce.
  • Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, as well as database design.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AI capabilities and CI/CD processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or a commitment to obtaining relevant certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits:

Slalom is committed to equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $118,000 to $150,000, with potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on performance. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications and experience.
