This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with business operations aligned to the Pacific time zone.

Meet Your Future Team:

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that engages with various departments across Arc'teryx. We prioritize professional development and aim to provide optimal solutions for teams utilizing our Salesforce applications and related systems.

The team is tasked with the construction and upkeep of our CRM, organized into squads comprising developers, Administrators, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Salesforce Developers work closely with other teams, including Infrastructure, Guest Services, ReBIRD, Marketing, and Analytics.

Core Responsibilities of the Lead Salesforce Developer:
  • Communicating project statuses, challenges, risks, and resolutions within an agile framework
  • Providing mentorship to peers on Salesforce development teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Creating solutions in Salesforce utilizing APEX, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Aura
  • Offering insights and recommendations on declarative versus non-declarative solutions
  • Developing and refining the DevOps strategy at Arc'teryx in line with industry best practices
  • Managing integration endpoints to and from the Salesforce platform
  • Handling large data volumes with data loader and establishing data mapping processes
  • Assessing Salesforce technical debt and proposing actionable solutions
  • Leading proactive system maintenance and code monitoring, including security reviews and code evaluations
  • Contributing to Salesforce architecture, data models, security, and integration capabilities
  • Providing documentation, training, and insights on Salesforce best practices and upcoming features
  • Drafting functional specifications and designs for complex applications or modifying existing ones
  • Reviewing designs and code from team members in collaboration with colleagues and Architects

  • Focusing on the development of scalable solutions within our Sales and Service cloud environments
  • Championing code reuse, minimizing technical debt, and enhancing platform quality

Are You the Ideal Candidate for the Lead Salesforce Developer Role?
  • You possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • You have over 5 years of experience on the Salesforce Platform, delivering medium to large-scale projects using both customization and out-of-the-box solutions
  • You are familiar with Service, Sales, and Experience Cloud
  • You hold certifications as a Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, and at least two Architect Level certifications
  • You have extensive experience with Salesforce programming languages, including APEX, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Aura
  • You have integrated Salesforce Applications with External Systems using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs
  • You have collaborated with product managers and business analysts to analyze business requirements and evaluate solution alternatives on the Salesforce platform
  • You understand the evolution of Salesforce, from Classic to current innovations like Einstein AI and Omnistudio, enabling you to diagnose issues stemming from legacy architecture
  • You exhibit a proactive approach to platform enhancements
  • You develop comprehensive test scripts and rigorously test your solutions
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to create and adhere to documentation
  • You have a proven track record of success in an Agile environment and are familiar with tools such as Jira and DevOps practices

Salary: $91,000 - $114,000 annually

This salary range reflects the base pay only and does not encompass our competitive bonus program and benefits.
