Your Role:
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, adept at addressing intricate challenges within the platform. Your expertise will encompass advanced technical domains, including various cloud offerings, programmatic development, declarative solutions, and integrations. You will thrive in problem-solving scenarios, demonstrating a proactive approach to executing and leading technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into well-structured solutions that effectively utilize the Salesforce platform.
- Assess the effort required to implement solutions based on both business and technical specifications.
- Facilitate technical design discussions, crafting and documenting solutions that align with client objectives while advising on best practices.
- Oversee the technical execution of Salesforce implementations, which includes:
- Developing custom solutions and integrations.
- Providing expert-level support to developers facing technical challenges.
- Designing and managing test plans to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Exhibiting technical thought leadership.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Apex programming, including design patterns, trigger management, asynchronous operations, and effective unit testing.
- Showcase advanced front-end development skills, particularly in LWC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of functional and technical tools such as data modeling, security frameworks, flows, and custom settings.
- Stay updated with modern Salesforce DevOps practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews.
- Remain informed about evolving Salesforce features and offerings.
- Mentor and guide junior technical team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Salesforce platform, including extensive work with Apex and JavaScript.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Salesforce development lifecycle, collaborating with multiple engineers.
- Familiarity with Salesforce offerings, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and popular AppExchange solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.).
- Proficiency in front-end development using Lightning Web Components.
- Knowledge of integration processes, third-party tools, and ETL with Salesforce.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database architecture, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Einstein and Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes within Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of working collaboratively or independently.
- Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to obtain relevant certifications upon hire.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits:
Slalom is committed to equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $118,000 to $150,000, with potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on performance. Actual compensation will be determined by individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
