Job Summary

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified professional to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our Anesthesiology service.

About the Role

As an Anesthesiologist with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will be responsible for providing a full range of specialized care to patients in the Eastern Zone. You will work collaboratively with a team of 7 Anesthesiologists to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of our Anesthesiology service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our Anesthesiology service
  • Collaborate with a team of 7 Anesthesiologists to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
  • Participate in research and/or medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, if interested

Requirements

  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Eligibility for a license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Nova Scotia
  • Royal College Canada certification
