About The Chill Desire

We are a dynamic restaurant company seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Operational Evaluation

Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget, ensuring that our offerings remain appealing to customers while maintaining profitability.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer service.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we secure the best possible deals.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
