Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Courtenay White Spot. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
- Chef Supervision: Supervise and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
- Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure that we are always stocked with the freshest ingredients.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our kitchen operations, from food preparation to presentation.
- Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
