About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at Axiomatic Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Prepare Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on shipping and warehouse operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery in the warehouse.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and shipping.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 employees and providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a warehouse setting.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
