About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at Axiomatic Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their success in their roles.

Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player
