Shipping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Operations Manager to join our team at Axiomatic Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
Requirements- Education: A college or CEGEP diploma is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows is essential.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
- Parking Available: On-site parking is available for employees.
- Permanent Employment: This is a permanent full-time position.
- Language of Work: English is the primary language of work.
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.
